3Walks was born in Bilbao’s Old Town back in 2016, close to the place where the city itself began. Our name comes from three historic promenades that once converged there: the Paseo de los Curas, the Paseo de los Señoritos and the Paseo de la Alpargata. Traditionally frequented by different people and communities, these three walks created a natural meeting point for conversations, encounters and the exchange of knowledge and culture. Over time, they became more than the origin of our name: they came to represent the way we work — opening pathways and building bridges between people, organisations, ideas and opportunities, both locally and internationally.

After ten years in Bilbao’s historic centre, 3Walks has begun a new chapter in the Albia Building, in the Ensanche. A landmark associated with Bilbao’s modernisation and transformation, Albia was conceived with an outward-looking spirit, drawing inspiration from new materials, technologies and approaches explored across Europe. Its recent renewal continues that story of adaptation and evolution, making it a meaningful new home for a 3Walks that has also grown, transformed and expanded its horizons.

What began at the intersection of three small walks in Bilbao has grown into a network of connections linking the Basque Country with Europe and the world. Our address has changed, but the idea behind 3Walks remains the same: creating places where different paths meet, knowledge is exchanged and new possibilities emerge. Because the most interesting things happen where different walks cross.
